Case Luggage is known for selling the UK’s finest luggage & travel accessories. The company currently runs free-standing stores & a number of concessions in department stores such as Harrods & Selfridges. Case Luggage offers products from a number of premium & well recognised brands including Tumi, Rimowa, Samsonite & Lulu Guinness.

Over the past 4 weeks, Case Luggage has been running a survey amongst all customers to discover the most popular luggage and travel products that are currently available. After analysing the results it is clear that there are some favourite pieces from the Case Luggage offering.

It was found that the best suitcase for taking on longer trips of 2 weeks or more is the Samsonite Cubelite in the largest size, 82cm. The majority of customers suggested that because the case is extremely lightweight, it meant that more clothes & accessories could be packed inside before reaching the airlines weight limits. The internal straps & pockets ensure that all belongings remain in place during travel, therefore making unpacking as simple as possible. The Cubelite range of lightweight luggage is currently available at all Case Luggage stores in a range of colours. For those who are going on a shorter trip, the Cubelite range is available in smaller sizes too including a carry on model.

There was a clear favourite for the best travel bag to take on a weekend break. The Bric’s 56cm Weekender from the Life range won this category. Recognised for their stylish looks and perfect finishing touches, the Bric’s weekend bags are spacious enough for 2 or 3 nights away from home. Daniel Painter, manager of the Case Luggage store in Bluewater states “many customers begin their Bric’s collection with a weekend brief or duffle, they love it so much that they return and buy larger holdalls & the matching suitcases too.”

The piece selected as best for business was the Tumi expandable computer brief. Due to the fact that the bag expands by an extra 2 inches, the user has plenty of space for both, a laptop or tablet & all their files & paperwork. The internal organiser pockets provide storage facilities for pens & smaller objects. The most popular feature is the add-a-bag sleeve, enabling the user to slot it over the handle of a wheeled business trolley and prevent it from falling off.

The Tumi iPad snap case was selected as the best iPad cover, providing protection for both iPad 2 and new iPads. The iPad cases are available in a range of colours from smart black leather, to a more decorative Anna Sui floral print. The case can be folded into a portfolio stand, providing a perfect angle for use of the iPad. Customers commented that they were impressed with the finish of the cover. Other customers also noted that they were pleased to see matching Tumi iPhone covers were also available to complement their iPad cover.

PACKING FOR LADIES

Extra storage space can be created when items are packed in the correct way. There are a few simple steps to follow in order to achieve packing success.

 

Firstly, all shoes should be placed in dust bags in the lower shell of the case along with any make-up bags and other heavy objects. A heavy lower shell optimises the distribution of weight and makes it easier to move your luggage. Fill the upper shell with light and delicate clothes, such as suits, silk dresses, cashmere sweaters and blouses. PACKING FOR MEN

There are only a few hints and tips to bear in mind when packing items in a RIMOWA suitcase, safely and without creases, so that they arrive at your destination in the same condition that they left.
