Is the Chipolo app required for using Chipolo trackers?

No. The Chipolo app is a companion app that offers extra features, like Call Your Phone, Change Ringtone, Take a Selfie, and more. You can track your items using only the Apple Find My app or the Find Hub app on Android.

Can I only use the Chipolo app without the Find My or Find Hub app?

No. Chipolo POP, LOOP, and CARD are meant to be used with either Apple Find My or Find Hub on Android. The Chipolo app is a companion app that gives you access to additional settings and extra features, like Call Your Phone, Change Ringtone, and more.

Does the Chipolo app have the sharing feature?

No. You can share the location of your Chipolo via Apple Find My or Find Hub on Android.

I'm an Android user. I share my Chipolo via the Find Hub app. How do Out of Bluetooth range Alerts work for me?

Out of Range Alerts notify only the primary user, who added the Chipolo into the Chipolo app and shared it. If you're sharing your Chipolo with your partner, you will be alerted when you leave your item behind, but your partner won't be.

Will my existing Chipolo devices still work, and how do I add a new one?

Your previous models will continue working. You can add a new Chipolo by going to the List tab in the Chipolo app and clicking on Add a new Chipolo. From there, you simply follow the setup instructions. The new tracker will then be displayed on your list of Chipolos.
