Factors To Consider When Choosing a Carry-On Suitcase

When choosing a carry-on suitcase, there are several factors to keep in mind:

• Size and Weight: The suitcase should meet airline restrictions for cabin luggage. Check the specifications of your preferred airlines before purchasing.
• Material: The material affects the durability, look, and weight of the suitcase. Hard shells offer protection but can be heavier, while soft shells are lighter and more flexible.
• Compartments and Organisation: Look for suitcases with thoughtful compartment designs to help organise your belongings efficiently.
• Mobility: Opt for suitcases with smooth-rolling wheels and sturdy handles for easy manoeuvrability.

Choosing the right carry-on suitcase can make your travel experience much smoother and more enjoyable. With Case Luggage's extensive collection, you're sure to find a carry-on suitcase that suits your needs and style.

What are Cabin Luggage & Carry On Suitcases?

Cabin luggage, also known as carry-on luggage, refers to bags or suitcases that meet size and weight restrictions set by airlines, allowing passengers to bring them into the aeroplane cabin rather than checking them in. Check out our cabin luggage from designer brands with ranges such as the Tumi 19 Degree Aluminium Suitcase, Bric’s X Travel, Briggs & Riley's Baseline 2 and many more.

Is Cabin Luggage Durable Enough For Frequent Travel?

Our cabin luggage is designed with durability in mind, featuring sturdy materials, reinforced corners, and quality construction to withstand the rigours of frequent travel.

What Is The Difference Between Cabin Baggage & Carry On Luggage?

• Cabin Baggage: This typically refers to all items that passengers can take into the cabin with them. It can include a small suitcase, a backpack, or a handbag. The size and weight restrictions for cabin baggage can vary between airlines, but it generally needs to fit either under the seat in front of you or in the overhead locker.
• Carry-On Luggage: This term is often used to describe the main piece of luggage that a passenger takes into the aeroplane cabin. It's usually a small suitcase that meets the airline's size and weight restrictions for in-cabin luggage. Carry-on luggage should be able to fit in the overhead locker.

At Case Luggage, we offer a wide variety of cabin bags and carry-on suitcases that adhere to most airlines' size guidelines. Our range includes options from renowned brands like Tumi, Bric's, and Samsonite, ensuring you travel in style while meeting airline regulations.

Does A Backpack Count As A Carry-On?

Yes, in most cases, a backpack can count as carry-on luggage, provided it meets the airline's size and weight restrictions for items allowed in the cabin. Airlines typically allow passengers to bring one piece of carry-on luggage and one personal item (like a purse, laptop bag, or small backpack) onboard. However, if your backpack is larger and used as your primary piece of carry-on luggage, it will need to fit within the airline's specified dimensions for overhead storage.

At Case Luggage, we offer a selection of backpacks suitable for use as carry-on luggage. These backpacks are designed to comply with most airlines' carry-on size guidelines and provide a versatile and comfortable travel solution. Remember, always check your airline's specific carry-on regulations before flying.

Why Choose Lightweight Cabin Luggage?

Lightweight cabin luggage offers the convenience of easy portability, allowing travellers to navigate airports, train stations, and other transportation hubs with less effort and strain.

What Materials Are Used To Make Lightweight Cabin Luggage?

A Lightweight cabin luggage suitcase is typically made from durable yet lightweight materials such as polycarbonate, ABS plastic, aluminium, or lightweight fabrics like nylon or polyester.

Are Lightweight Cabin Luggage & Carry-On Suitcases Durable?

Yes, despite their lightweight construction, these bags are engineered to withstand the rigours of travel. They often feature reinforced corners, sturdy zippers, and impact-resistant shells to protect belongings during transit.

Carry-on luggage and check-in luggage are two distinct types of baggage that you take with you when you travel, each with its own set of rules and uses.

• Carry-On Luggage: Carry-on luggage, also known as cabin luggage or hand luggage, is the type of baggage that you're allowed to bring with you onto the plane and store in the overhead locker or under the seat in front. The size and weight restrictions for carry-on luggage can vary between airlines, but it typically needs to fit within certain dimensions and weight limits to be accepted. At Case Luggage, we offer a wide selection of carry-on suitcases that meet most airlines' guidelines, providing comfort and convenience for your journey.
• Check-In Luggage: Check-in luggage, on the other hand, is the baggage that you check in at the airline's desk before boarding your flight. This luggage is stored in the aircraft's cargo area during the flight and is retrieved at your destination airport's baggage claim area. Check-in luggage is generally larger and heavier than carry-on luggage, allowing you to pack more items for longer trips. However, airlines also impose weight and size limits on check-in luggage, and exceeding these limits may incur additional fees.

The main difference between a cabin luggage suitcase and a check-in luggage lies in their size, weight, and where they're stored during the flight. It's always essential to check your airline's specific baggage policies before packing to ensure a smooth travel experience.
