When you invest in quality luggage, understanding the manufacturer warranty is just as important as choosing the right suitcase.

 

At Case, we carefully select travel brands known for durability, thoughtful design and reliable after-sales support. Most luggage brands provide a manufacturer warranty that protects against faults in materials or workmanship during normal use.

 

Warranty periods vary depending on the brand and the specific collection. Some brands offer standard multi-year warranties, while others provide extended or lifetime repair guarantees.

 

The information below explains the warranty support offered by each brand available at Case, including warranty length, whether product registration is required, what the warranty typically covers, and how to contact the authorised repair centre.

 

Always keep your proof of purchase. For online orders this will be your Case invoice, and for in-store purchases this will be your receipt. This documentation is normally required when submitting a warranty claim.

Luggage Warranty Comparison

Different luggage brands offer different types of warranty support. Some focus on manufacturing defects, while others provide more extensive repair coverage.

 

Typical warranty coverage includes faults such as:

  • Broken wheels affecting movement
  • Faulty telescopic handles
  • Defective zips or closures
  • Structural faults in suitcase shells or frames
  • Manufacturing defects in materials or assembly

Most warranties apply only when the item has been used under normal travel conditions.

 

Cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, dents or fabric marks is usually not covered. Damage caused during airline handling is also normally excluded unless specifically stated by the brand.

 

Some manufacturers, including Briggs & Riley offer more extensive warranty programmes that may cover airline damage or provide lifetime repair support.

Victorinox All ranges 1 + 10 Years Warranty

During the first twelve months of ownership, your product is covered by the Victorinox Total Protection Programme.

This includes manufacturing defects, normal wear and tear, airline handling and transit damage. This excludes abuse, cosmetic damage (scratches on leather, polycarbonate, or stained fabrics), incidental or consequential damage (such as damage to or loss of content of the bag, loss of use, or loss of time), abrasion, solvents and accidents.

Note that the electronic device or function integrated in your travel product is not covered by this warranty.

The Total Protection Programme covers repair expenses, shipping costs to and from the repair centre, or a replacement product (of identical or equivalent value) if your product is beyond repair. Warranty repairs must be carried out at an approved Victorinox service centre.

The Quality Warranty Programme covers the repair expenses or a replacement product (of identical or equivalent value) if your product is beyond repair, and the shipping cost from the repair centre.

You are required to either ship your product for repair, postage paid, or take it to a Victorinox store or an authorised Victorinox retailer. If it turns out the repair is not covered by the warranty, your service centre will contact you with an estimate including repair fees and return shipping costs.
